Jenine Inniss

Born and raised in Trinidad & Tobago, Jenine’s love for learning started early through play, curiosity, and a belief that every child deserves to be understood.

Her educational journey took her from the Caribbean to New York City and eventually to Raleigh, NC. Each step shaping a deeper commitment to equity, belonging, and access in education.

After earning her AS, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degrees in education, Special Education opened a new world of possibility, one rooted in supporting families and students with learning differences.

Why I Created TRNZFRM-MINDS

I created TRNZFRM-MINDS after witnessing too many parents enter Special Education meetings feeling afraid, unheard, and unsure of their rights. I saw educators doing their best within systems that often create confusion instead of collaboration. This work exists to replace fear with understanding, silence with empowered voices, and isolation with shared advocacy—so every learner is supported with intention, dignity, and care.
